Deployment - Installation of the New Oxatis Connector requires Microsoft .net Framework version 4.5 minimum
Important Info: For Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, it is necessary to download and install this version. However, this .net framework version is automatically integrated into Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 operating systems.
- The Windows user must have "Administrator" rights during installation.
Do not install the New Oxatis Connector on several workstations at the risk of desynchronization, conflict and loss of data.
Disk space
DP-Connector database size The disk space must be sized to store, the images and the DP-Connector database. An estimate of the space required can be made from the following: Size of the source directory of images of all articles to be published x4 x number of languages (plan the total number of articles to be published and not just the current images) + Size of the Commercial Management database with transaction logs (import, export, download and transfer of data)
The application checks: a warning message is displayed in the main screen of the DP-Connector when the free space of the volume of the disk used is less than 10%.
For workstations and virtual servers, an automatic increase in the size of the disk is strongly recommended.
